Giuseppe DAngelico Pino, Italian, American, 1939 to 2010, color giclee print with hand embellishment on canvas, Almost Ready. Hand signed in pigment lower right. From the Printers proof numbered edition, 8 of 80, lower left. Framed. Giuseppe Pino is known for Romance novel illustrations, figure and floral painting. Pino became one of the foremost book cover illustrators over 1600 in the United States before establishing a reputation as a fine art figure and landscape painter. Pino Daenis canvases elicit feelings of warmth, nostalgia, love, and family. His paintings are often set on vibrantly sunny beaches, typically in the Mediterranean where he grew up.
