Rufino Tamayo, Mexican, American, 1899 to 1991, color print on paper, Self Portrait. Signed and dated 46 to 67 in the print, upper right. Marked and titled in the print, Autorretrato Anos 1946 to 1967 Oleo Sobre Tela Coleccion Del Autor, Mexico D. F., Self portrait Years 1946 to 1967 Oil on Canvas Coleccion Del Autor, Mexico D. F, on the backside. Completed with an original certificate, Art Connaisseurs Guild, Edition 1967 Inba Mexico, stamped with an impressed seal 2005. lower right. Rufino del Carmen Arellanes Tamayo was a Mexican painter of Zapotec heritage, born in Oaxaca de Juárez, Mexico. Tamayo was active in the mid 20th century in Mexico and New York, painting figurative abstraction with surrealist influences. Mexican and American Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
