ELUARD PAUL: (1895-1952) French poet, one of the founders of the Surrealist movement. A.L.S., Paul Eluard, one page, 8vo, n.p., n.d. ('Lundi'), to a friend, in French. Eluard informs his friend that he is in the countryside, twenty kilometres from Paris, and will probably stay until the end of the month. The poet also provides his address and telephone number in Montlignon, asking that his friend call him so that 'On pourrait peut-etre s'arranger pour se voir' (Translation: 'maybe we could arrange to see each other').
