Rare: Tshuvat Keren Shmuel bound with a eulogy for Rabbi Yosef Livan—first edition, Prague 1841-1857
Halachic responsum on eating kitniyot, rice and millet on Pesach, by the dayan Rabbi Shmuel Freund of Prague. Written as an answer to the book “Ishru Chamutz” by Yosef Dormitzer, where he wanted to approve eating those. First edition from the author’s lifetime (1841). At the end is a eulogy on Rabbi Yosef Livan by the author, with a separate cover and page numbering. Prague 1857. 11 pages, 7 pages. Binding detached, no spine, stains, generally good condition.
