A detailed report on the credits and debits of the Talmud Torah Shaarei Torah institution in Yafo, “since the entrance in 1891 of the new administrators”. Four pamphlets.
The pamphlets detail the institution’s activities, include letters from rabbanim, takanot of the Talmud Torah, and mainly the detailed budget report. Pamphlet 1: Shvat 1891 to Tammuz 1893; 2: Tammuz 1893 to Av 1894; 3: Av 1894 to Shvat 1896; 4: Shvat 1896 to Av 1897.
Very important item for researchers studying Charedi communities in Israel at the end of the 19th century. Rare – never before seen at auction.
The fourth booklet is smaller (by a few cm) than the other pamphlets. A few worming holes, detached binding, good condition.
