Romania > Bucharest: [Jewish] Society of the "Sacred Duty" ("Datoriile Sacre") Jubillee silver finished medallion; not maker-marked; 32.5mm, 14g. obverse: Star of David with Romanian legend "25th Anniversary 1901-1926". Reverse: Romanian legend "Society of the 'Sacred Duty' Bucharest" + Hebrew legend (segment from ritual prayer, expected duties/Mitzvot of a Jew) "Visiting of the Sick, Burial of the Dead" ("Bikur Kholim, Halvayat HaMet"). As per spelling mistakes engraver probably not Jewish. In VF+.
