maker J.A & S, Birmingham 1893, bell-shaped, enamelled with a hazardous sea marker buoy inscribed ASBESTOS. 5.5cm long overall
The marks are clear. The enamel appears flat, and the surface scratches are light. There is some fraying to the edges of the enamel. The lid opens and snaps shut well. There is no personalised engraving.
