by Joseph Willmore, Birmingham 1824, rectangular with slightly waisted sides, the hinged cover with an applied foliate border framing an engine-turned ground with a vacant cartouche, the sides reeded, the base also engine-turned, inscribed on the underside of the lid C.O.R-A.A.R / 22 June / 1912-1933. 8cm long, 4.7 troy ounces
The marks are clear on both the lid and the base. The cartouche is vacant. There are a few small dints around the edge of the base. The hinge is in good order and, and the lid closes well. It is in generally good condition commensurate with age and use.
