Mid Century Fratelli Fanciullacci Hexagonal Pottery Vase from Italy 1960s - 1950s
A valuable and collectible item for enthusiasts of vintage pottery and mid-century design.

This remarkable hand-finished Fratelli Fanciullacci pottery vase stands at an impressive 47cm in height, making it a substantial and eye-catching décor item. The vase features a sophisticated design with textured brown glazed strips that run vertically along its surface. These textured strips create a tactile and visually appealing contrast on the vase.

The textured brown glazed strips are interspaced by alternating surfaces—first smooth, then ribbed, and again smooth. This variation in surface textures adds depth and complexity to the overall design, creating a dynamic visual effect. Aside the the glaze, the  vase exterior is painted with a unique effect, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.

Despite its age, the vase is in good condition, but there is a small chip on the side (please see image with a pen) and another one underneath. These minor imperfections, though present, do not significantly detract from the overall beauty and charm of the vase. T

This Fratelli Fanciullacci pottery vase is not just a decorative piece; it's a testament to the artistic expression and attention to detail of the mid-20th century.
