Rare. Sefer Hayochasin Hashalem by Rabbi Avraham Zacuto an edition based on a manuscript by the author himself. First edition with Hagahaot HaYavetz. Edited by Rabbi Zvi Phillipovsky - London and Edinburgh, 1857. 


Sefer Yochasin is a work authored by Rabbi Avraham Zacuto in 1504. It contains the history of the Jews throughout the generations from Moshe Rabbeinu to the author's generation. This important edition is based on a manuscript by the author himself, which can be found in the Oxford Library. In addition, for the first time, Hagahot HaYavetz that was in the Beis Midrash of London. And several comments and letters by varied rabbis. The book was edited by Rabbi Zvi Phillipovsky who used to publish editions of Sifrei Kodesh based on their original manuscrips. He was a member of THE HEBREW ANTIQUARIAN SOCIETY.

Rabbi Mordechai, was a Chassid of the Admorim the Ahavas Yisroel and the Damesek Eliezer of Vizhnitz. Was a Rav and Rosh Yeshiva in Arad under the Communist rule and worked together with the Admor of Skolen for the children of Romania. Immigrated to Israel and served as the Rosh Yeshiva of Antinia in Bnei Berak. See: Doresh LeZion [Bnei Berak, 1996].
