A RUSSIAN SOVIET LINOCUT BY VLADIMIR VETROGONSKY
Vladimir Aleksandrovich Vetrogonsky (Russian, 1923-2002) linocut on paper, "At the Arrow", 1957, depicting one Soviet waiting women. Titled in Cyrillic, lower left. Signed and dated 57 in Cyrillic, lower right. Vladimir Vetrogonsky was an important Social Realist artist and illustrator, whose artworks were used in many publications.
