Vladimir Tatlin (Russian, 1885-1953) original gouache painting on paper, Tinker, a sketch of the costume design for the play, The Action about Tsar Maximilian and his rebellious son Adolf, 1911. Signed lower right. Titled upper left. The original stamp of Collection of Solomon Shuster Leningrad with a number, A 2515, on the back. Tatlin is a Russian and Soviet painter, graphic artist, designer and theater artist. One of the largest representatives of the Russian Avant-Garde, the founder of constructivism.
