FRENCH COLOR ETCHING LADY CARRIAGE BY LOUIS ICART
Louis Justin Laurent Icart (French, 1888-1950) etching and aquatint with touches of hand coloring printed on wove paper, Manon, 1927. Signed lower right. Matted. Louis Icart is known for Sensuous female figure drawing and painting, fashion design. His creativity reached its peak during the Art Deco period, and the artist became a real symbol of this era while working in his own style, which relied on the art of French masters of the 18th century.
