An antique Russian hand-painted icon of Theotokos, Mother Of God Vladimirskaya, the earliest known surviving and one of the most revered miraculous icons of the Russian Orthodox Church. A mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on wood panel. Inscribed upper right and left. Circa: late 19th century. The auction paper label is attached to the back. Antique Russian religious items and collectibles.
