ANTIQUE 1889 ILLUSTRATED BOOKS SYLVIE AND BRUNO
A set of two antique books. Sylvie and Bruno, 1889; Sylvie and Bruno Concluded, 1893. By Lewis Carroll, 1832-1898, English writer most famous for his novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. With Fourty-six illustrations by Harry Furniss in each volume. Published in London by Macmillian and Co. Red hardcovers with golden embossing. The second volume has a bookplate of the Ellerslie Ladies College and School on the flyleaf; the book was awarded to Edith Heywood for punctuality in 1894. Collectible Antique Books.
