A fine early 20th century Chinese baluster shaped brass vase decorated with beautifully detailed polychrome floral patterns in a champleve enamel technique. Champleve is an enameling technique consists of cutting away troughs or cells in a metal plate and filling the depressions with pulverized vitreous enamel.
