A Neo Impressionist style contemporary oil on canvas painting by Veronika Shevchuk, Still life with quince, 2001. Signed lower left: Veronika. Also signed in Cyrillic, titled and dated verso. Veronika Shevchuk was born in 1958 in Simferopol. She studied at the Crimean Art School, 1973 to 1977, and at the Kiev National Academy of the fine arts and architecture in the studios of profs V.I. Gurin and A.M.Lopuhova, 1977 to 1983, finishing with distinction. A member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1986, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. One of a kind artwork.
