1930S PHOTOGRAPH ICE SKATERS BY NATHANIEL FIELD
A mid-century black and white photo print of an ice skating couple. White mat. Titled The Skater's Slide in the lower left. Hand-signed N. Field in the lower right. Nathaniel Field was an American photographer based in Brooklyn, NY, a pupil of J. Ghislain Lootens. Most of his work dates back to the 1940s. The sticker on the backside with photo specification indicates that the artwork was sent to the First National Flash Photography Contest, 1937. Collectible American Photography, New York Local History.
