A lot of four German posters dating back to the Third Reich era. Fine examples of Wochenspruch der NSDAP, Weekly Quotation of the Nazi Party, a wall newspaper that was published by the Nazi Party between 1937 and 1944. It represented quotations from Nazi leaders and approved historical personalities. The lot includes issues calligraphic quotes from Ernst Moritz Arndt, Helmut von Moltke, Jean Paul. First: Das ist die hochste Religion, zu siegen oder zu sterben fur Gerechtigkeit und Wahrheit, This is the supreme religion, to conquer or die for justice and truth, issue 38, dated September 15-22, 1940. Second: An den Fuhrer glauben heisst an der Sieg glauben, To trust the leader is to believe in victory, issue 51, dated December 15-21, 1940. Third: Frei ist nur das Volk das stark genug ist seine Freiheit zu behaupten, Free is only the nation that is strong enough to defend its freedom, date March 17-23, 1940.
