ANTIQUE 1911 RUSSIAN PHOTO ALBUM YELAGIN PALACE
An antiquarian Russian album edition titled Yelagin Palace and published by the Imperial Society of Architects in St. Petersburg, in 1911. Texts are both in Russian and French by Fyodor Berenstam. With numerous photographs. Yelagin Palace is a Palladian villa on Yelagin Island in Saint Petersburg, which served as a royal summer palace during the reign of Alexander I. Feltsman family: Oscar Feltsman 1921-2013 was a Russian Ukrainian-born composer of Lithuanian Jewish descent. He was the father of Vladimir Feltsman, born in 1952 a Russian-American classical pianist. Anna Feltsman was the first wife of Vladimir Feltsman.
