RUSSIAN MIXED MEDIA PAINTING BY ANATOLY ZVEREV
Anatoly Timofeivich Zverev, Russian Soviet, 1931 to 1986, mixed media painting on panel depicting a church, 1978. Signed with initials upper right. Dated to the center left. Anatoly Zverev, was a Nonconformist artist, representative of the second wave of the Russian avant-garde, and painter of the Soviet underground. He was and remains a legend in the artistic life of Moscow in the second half of the 20th century. One of a kind artwork.
Dimensions: 18 1/8 x 12 1/4 in. All measurements are approximate.
