RUSSIAN LANDSCAPE OIL PAINTING BY NIKOLAI ULYANOV
Nikolai Ulianov, Russian, German, 1922 to 1990, oil painting on canvas depicting a forest and mountain landscape. Signed lower left. He was born in 1922 in the village of Polukhtino, Tver Region. In 1950, N. Ulyanov graduated with honors from the Moscow City Art Studio for disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War, where his teachers were K. F. Yuon, I. I. Zakharov, K. F. Morozov, G. A. Sretensky. A convinced realist, a prominent representative of the Russian school of realistic painting. One of a kind artwork.
Dimensions: Canvas 12 7/8 x 16 in. All measurements are approximate.
