MID CENTURY JOHN JUZEK VIOLIN WITH ACCESSORIES
A mid-century four-string violin by John Juzek. It is marked John Juzek Violinmaker, Made in Prague inside. The instrument comes with two shoulder rests, a can of violin rosin, strings, and two fiddlesticks. All items come in a lined violin case. John Juzek, or Janek Juzek, 1892 to 1965, was a Czech merchant, widely known in North America as an exporter of stringed musical instruments crafted by guilds and independent makers from Bohemia region.
