ANTIQUE FRENCH GILT BRONZE AND WOOD PORTICO CLOCK
An antique French Empire gilt bronze and black ebonized wood portico clock. The base of the clock is decorated with gilt bronze floral and leaves patterns and supporting carefully cast Corinthian columns supporting an entablature with floral mounts held by a bowknot on the top. A gold tone enameled dial with black Roman numerals and hands. A gilt bronze pendulum is adorned with an engraved scrollwork motif. Circa: late 19th century. Average weight 32 lbs.
