An antique Persian Isphahan Isfahan gouache painting on antique manuscript leaf depicting a blackbird among plants in bold colors and with fine details, after Marvels or Wonders of Creation by Al Qazwini. Carefully written with an Arabic calligraphic text. Signed lower left. The Wonders of Creation, or literally, Marvels of Things Created and Miraculous Aspects of Things Existing by Zakriya ibn Muhammad al Qazwini, circa 1203 to 83, is among the best known texts of the Islamic world.
