ANTIQUE 1900S QAJAR EMPIRE MIRROR IN WOODEN CASE
An antique Persian Ahmad Shah Qajar Empire papier mache painted and lacquered mirror case manufactured in the manner of Mirza agha Emami, depicting a scene with royal court figures in the central medallions against an embellished ground with arabesque and floral design. A rich Khatam inlay marquetry pattern ornate the other sides. The mirror is intact inside the case. Dates to the very late 19th century or early 20th century.
