RUSSIAN GILT SILVER ENAMEL STANDING PICTURE FRAME
A Russian wooden standing picture frame with gilt silver front mount and stand. The figurative piece is covered with blue guilloche enamel. The round frame hole which presents a portrait of Elisabeth II, Empress of Russia from 1762 to 1796, is flanked with overlay cloisonne enamel peacocks. A relief double-headed eagle with a central ruby cabochon decorates the stand. Hallmark of 84 silver standart and makers marks are on the backside of the piece. The item comes in original box.
