ANCIENT CHINA 5TH C AD CARVED MARBLE BUDDHA HEAD
An Ancient Chinese carved marble stone sculpture, the head of Shakyamuni Buddha. Era of Northern and Southern dynasties, ca. 5th century AD. Crowned head with elongated earlobes. Seems that originally had some polychrome painting, completely faded out. The piece is mounted on a pedestal. Buddhist Religious Collectibles, Collectible Archaeological Finds And Relics.
Dimensions: H 7 5/8 in, W 5 1/8 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good antique condition. Signs of wear and Age. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
