ATTR TO MARC CHAGALL MIXED MEDIA PAINTING SIGNED
Attributed to Marc Chagall, Russian, French, 1887 to 1985, mixed media, gouache, pastel and pencil, painting on paper depicting a still life with flowers in front of the window and a couple portrait. Signed lower right. Framed. Marc Zakharovich Chagall was a Russian and French artist of Jewish origin. In addition to graphics and painting, he was also engaged in scenography, wrote poetry in Yiddish. One of the most famous representatives of the artistic avant garde of the 20th century. An early modernist, he was associated with several major artistic styles and created works in a wide range of artistic formats, including painting, drawings, book illustrations, stained glass, stage sets, ceramics, tapestries and fine art prints. One of a kind artwork.
