1901 IMPERIAL RUSSIAN GOLD FIVE RUBLES COIN
An Imperial Russian gold 5 Ruble coin. Struck in Saint Petersburg in 1901. Portrait of the emperor Nicholas II on the obverse, with inscription Nicholas II Emperor and Tsar of All Russia. Imperial Eagle on the reverse, denomination and date. Patterned edge. The item comes in a plastic case. 5 and 10 Rouble coins were introduced in 1886, lasting until the production of Russian gold coinage was suspended in 1911. References: MS 66.
