A large vintage David Andersen Norway 925 sterling silver and polychrome enamel figural brooch. The brooch is designed as a butterfly covered with enamel in green, yellow, purple, orange and black colors. Marked on the backside: David - Andersen, Norway, Sterling 925 - S. David Andersen is Norways leading silversmith, established in 1876. The company became world famous for its enamel jewelry in the first half of the 20th century.
