NESTEROVA BERZINA RUSSIAN PAINTING FOR MILITARY POSTER
Maria Alexandrovna Nesterova Berzina, Russian, Soviet era, 1897 to 1965, mixed media painting on paper mounted on canvas, the original unique illustration, maquette for the poster, Long Live Soviet Tankmen!, 1945. Titled below. Signed lower right. The poster shows the IS 3 tank Joseph Stalin. It did not participate in the battles, but took part in the parade in Berlin. Maria Alexandrovna Nesterova Berzina was a Soviet poster artist, painter; author of advertising, social, military and sports posters. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. WWII Era Russian Soviet Posters, and Collectibles. One of a kind artwork.
