RARE RUSSIAN SOVIET DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS MOVIE POSTER
A rare Russian Soviet era lithographic poster for the movie, The Thief of Baghdad, with Douglas Fairbanks in the main role. Colored lithograph on rice paper. Sovkino publishing house, circulation of 15 000 copies. Artist: Leonid Aleksandrovich Voronov, Russian, 1899 to 1938. Signed with a monogram in the print, lower left. Marked and stamped in the print, lower right. Circa: 1925 to 1930. The Thief of Bagdad 1924 is a silent feature film directed by Raoul Walsh, based on Arabian tales.
