The textile is decorated with hand woven floral and foliage motifs on the front side and floral medallions on the reverse side. Circa: 17th century. The Safavid dynasty, which ruled Persia from the early 16th to the early 18th century, is renowned for its exquisite textiles, intricate designs, and extensive use of silk, reflecting the opulence and artistic achievements of the era.
