WWII RUSSIAN SOVIET ORDER OF THE PATRIOTIC WAR MEDAL
A WWII Russian Soviet Order of the Patriotic War medal. The Order features a five pointed star covered with red enamel and bearing a crossed hammer and sickle to the center bordered with a white enamel rim inscribed in Russian: The Patriotic War. Marked and numbered on the back side. The Order of the Patriotic War was awarded to all soldiers in the Soviet armed forces, security troops, and to partisans for heroic deeds during the Great Patriotic War.
