IMPERIAL RUSSIAN ST GEORGE CAVALRY OFFICERS SWORD
An Imperial Russian Saint George cavalry officers sword or saber, 1881 model. Curved steel blade without decoration. Gilt brass grip with knucklebow, adorned with raised floral pattern. Georges ribbon lanyard is attached to the grip. The sword comes with a matching scabbard with a suspension ring. The Order of Saint George was the highest military decoration of the Russian Empire, established in 1769. Arms And Weapons, Knives, Daggers, And Swords, Historical Collectibles.
