Ca. AD 1800 - 2000. A pair of dishes, one painted in underglaze blue with a central scene of a pagoda, bridge, and mountainous island landscape within a floral border; the other enamelled in green with a central motif of a gridded globe. Used to commemorate the friendly relationship between Japan and the UK. Size: 110-180mm x 22-25mm; Weight: 445g. Provenance: Private London collection; Ex Yoshitomo Minamoto Collection.
