This edition is a catalogue of the exhibition of the House of Cartier, held in the State Hermitage from May 14 to June 20, 1992.
The work of Cartier defines style and fashion in contemporary jewellery. The exhibition is retrospective and it gives an opportunity to get acquainted with the way of his development, quests and creation of his style.
Cartier products cannot be confused with what other world jewellery companies create. Many Cartier items are not just decorations but real works of art, striking by the richness of fantasy, exquisite compositions and delicacy of taste.
