Oil on canvas, signed front and back, entitled, "As Máscaras". Work accompanied by certificate of authenticity and the artist's book "A Alma e o Artista".Approx. dimensions: Stain: 100x81 cm; Frame: 110x90cm. Mário Portugal (1962)Mário Portugal (1962), was born in Póvoa de Varzim. He studied Restoration, Sacred Art, Interior Decoration and was a student of the free courses of Painting of the Árvore Cooperative, in Porto. He began his artistic career in 1981, and started producing sculptures 13 years later. His studio, located in Gondomar, is the place where he produces and receives disciples, as well as live models. He made study trips to Paris, Barcelona, Florence and Holland, where he sought to deepen his knowledge about artists of paintings from various eras. Among her distinctions, we can find a plaque with her name in the Ovar Museum and, in 2022, she received the recognition prize "Honneur et reconnaissance aux femmes de valleure" by the Paris Academy of Arts and Science.
