Politician, Harold Macmillan signed commemorative Rocket 150 FDC. This cover features three post marks on the front dating 12th March 1980, Liverpool, 5 stamps and 1 Railway Letter Stamp. It was carried on APT Glasgow- London 7th Dec 1981 and has these post marks each side. This limited edition cover is number 19of 20 carried specially on the maiden and record breaking run (402 miles in 4 hours 14 mins.) Rocket 150 information insert card included. Former politician the Rt. Hon. Harold Macmillan has signed the reverse in black ink. Maurice Harold Macmillan, 1st Earl of Stockton, OM, PC, FRS (10 February 1894 - 29 December 1986) was a British Conservative statesman and politician who was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1957 to 1963. Caricatured as Supermac, he was known for his pragmatism, wit and unflappability. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
