Rehna "Tiny" Cloete (South African, 1915-1993) : Girl with Calla Lilly, 1959. Oil on canvas, signed and dated lower right, framed. This painting is accompanied by a note from the artist to the first owner of the painting. Verso "Prov. Hammer Gal." is written in pencil.
Rehna Cloete was best known as a the author of "To Catch a Man" and "The Nylon Safari."
