Antique Scottish Glasgow Bracket Clock
This is a White and Gregory of Glasgow bracket clock circa 1890. It is housed in a Classical Revival style mahogany case with gilt bronze accent mounts. It is accented also with gilt Corinthian-style columns on the front and has gilt side grilles. The base is mounted with scrolled bronze. It has a gilt clock face with silvered rings and black-painted Roman numerals. The glass door to the front of the clock is locked and no key is included. The back glass door to access the inner workings opens and closes. The clock makes noise when handled but does not tick when sitting. There is no winding key included.
Measures H 22.75 W 17 D inches.
Condition: There is some loss and chipping to the wood in various areas Some slight wear signs to the face of the clock and Roman numerals.
