These pieces are printed in French. For this description, the titles and descriptions within the books have been roughly translated into English. These two pieces are from a collection of forty-five total volumes. 


The first hardcover piece is titled End of the French Theatre Repertoire, with a new selection of pieces from other theaters, assembled by M. Lepeintre, Comedies in Verse. Volume 1. This piece was made in Paris at Mrs. Widow Dabo's at the Stereotype Bookstore, Bue Du Pot-Der-Fer, 1824. The book itself is in fair condition with some loss to the corners of the front and back covers. The pages are in texture and in good condition. Only a few of the pages are folded heavily but are still maneuverable and readable. The spine and binding are in good condition. The satin bookmark is slightly frayed at the end but still in working condition. No noticeable odor. Slight discoloration to the front and back covers. It measures H 5.5 W 3.5 D 1 inch. 


The second hardcover piece is titled End of the French Theater Repertoire, with a new selection of pieces from other theaters, collected by M. Lepeintre, Tragedies Volume II. This piece was made in Paris at Mrs. Widow Dabo's at the Stereotype Bookstore, Bue Du Pot-Der-Fer, 1824. The book itself is in fair condition with some loss to the corners of the front and back covers. The pages are in texture and good condition as they are still maneuverable and readable. The spine and binding are in good condition. The satin bookmark is slightly frayed at the end but still in working condition. No noticeable odor. Slight discoloration to the front and back covers. It measures H 5.5 W 3.5 inches.
