c1880 Tumbler Comfort Quilt
c1880s tumbler quilt top finished later into a comfort quilt. It measures 83" x 84". The tumblers are in a strippy arrangement with vertical bars measuring 6" wide with alternating pink print bars measuring 4 1/2" wide. Batting appears to be a cotton/poly blend and backing is an off white cotton solid fabric. The edges are finished with an applied brown fabric binding. It is hand pieced and hand tied with pink embroidery floss. It is in unwashed, good condition with 3 fabrics starting to deteriorate. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
