Accompanied by numerous illustrations within the text show views of Eretz Israel, inhabitants' attire, customs and more, as well as 40 plates of engravings, Including three large, colorful maps (maps of Jerusalem, Israel, and Sinai and Egypt).
volume I: VIII, 520 pp +[22] plates. volume II: VI, 474 pp +[18] plates. 38.5 cm. Original brown bindings with gilt inscription and embossed gilt decorations. Gilt leaf cutting. Stains on the first leaves of the two parts. Slight tears in the upper part of the spine of the first part. general condition good.
