"It is impossible to rebuild a safe life in Europe on the graves of millions of Jews who were exterminated" - a poster calling for the establishment of a Jewish home in Israel after the Holocaust

L'ETAT JUIF AU PEUPLE JUIF - 'A Jewish State for the Jews' - a sharp two-sided poster issued in 1945 calling on the UN to immediately approve the establishment of a Jewish state for the Jewish people in Israel, As a necessary conclusion from the results of the Holocaust that killed 6 million of its people. 'The Zionist Organization of France', Nice.

At the beginning of the proclamation is a quote from Haim Weizmann at the World Zionist Conference, that the tragedy of the Jews in Europe embodies the frightening justification for the truth of the goals of the Zionist movement, and that the Holocaust that happened to the Jewish people could not have happened to any other nation. It later states that only in the Land of Israel is it possible to establish a Jewish state: "The Jewish people must take their rightful place in the family of nations, Palestine as a state must be one of the fruits of the Jewish people's victory",  and a commitment not to violate Arab rights in the Land of Israel. There are sections that appeal to the British government and seek to open the country's gates to displaced Jews, and more. At the end of the proclamation is a "statement" that President Truman told Churchill, to allow as many Jews as possible to immigrate to Israel immediately.
