A WHITE MARBLE HEAD OF BUDDHA
品名:北周 漢白玉佛首 年代(Age):NORTHERN ZHOU (557-581 A.D.) 尺寸(size):25 cm Height。 拍品描述：拍品為漢白玉質地，石質緊密扎實，打磨細膩，包漿渾厚。佛首肉髻低平，螺髮，臉型方圓，雙目微睜 ，嘴角上揚。面部五官雕繪生動，神態莊嚴而自在。佛首後側有一凹卯，原本應飾有頭光。拍品頸部斷面有明顯土 沁，很可能是當時毀佛時受到破壞所致。南北朝後期，東魏北齊轄下的華北東部，孕育出璀璨的石雕造像。從最早 出土的山東青州造像，到近年來在河北臨漳所發現的古鄴城造像，可以看出一千五百年前，人們嚮往的精神世界與 極高的審美追求。 參閱：1. 北齊 菩薩頭像，河北博物院藏。 2. 北齊 佛像，山東青州博物館藏。 來源：日本私人收藏。
