WWI WAR EAGLE SERIES FLIERS (12)
War Eagle Series fliers made by Richard H. Edmonds, Editor Manufacturers Record, meant to boast morale of troops to fight during WWI, series two through twelve, dated February to May 1918, 12 x 9.25 inches. Some headlines include, 'Onward, Christian Soldiers, Marching as to War', 'This 'Made-In-Germany' War', and 'The Nation's Supreme Task'. Included in lot is a printed image of Herbert Kitchner, senior British Officer. Water staining, minor tears, minor folds, and bumped corners on fliers. Kitchner printed image has two 1-inch tears and other minor tears.
