PAUL TIBBETS ENOLA GAY SIGNED POSTER
(1915-2007) American Bomber Pilot who flew the B-29 Superfortress known as the Enola Gay when it dropped Little Boy, the first of two atomic bombs used in warfare, on the Japanese city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. Signed lithograph poster 'Atomic Warfare is Born' 18 x 24 inches, a color painting of the Enola Gay in flight over Japan and the mushroom cloud rising up from Hiroshima in the background. Signed in blue ink 'With best wishes Paul W. Tibbets', Pilot, Lithograph printed by Buckeye Aviation Book Company, 18 x 24 inches. Very good.
