1944 GERMAN HORSE RACE TROPHY
German WWII horse racing trophy, a porcelain vase presented at the Greater German Reich Great Prize of Vienna 1944 horse race (Grossdeutsches Reich Grosser-Preis v. Wien 1944) The front of the vase is elaborately decorated with a hand-painted horse head on a green background, flanked by two acorns and oak leaf branches. Verso shows an eagle next to a mobile swastika with an oak leaf wreath perched on the coat of arms of the city of Vienna. Gilded ring painted around the base, marked 'Rudolf 1944' on the underside of the base, approx. 7.25 inches in height. In excellent condition.
